Yes! We've all bought something we've convinced ourselves that we need. Incredibly, my husband and I have spent hundreds, possibly thousands of pounds on things that have served only as a convenient platform for the settlement of dust. Unless, of course, they have had the luxury of that 'must have' accessory the dust cover.
As we have moved recently, many of these 'desirable' objects have come to light. We thought that it might be a laugh to catalogue these useless articles and recount some of the funny stories behind their impulse purchase.
